Cabin 186 is a detached and fully furnished leasehold log cabin in good order and has an enclosed veranda which is opened out on one side to make a larger kitchen-diner. It has a large grassy, relatively private plot with views to the Rhinog Mountains from the patio. The parking is within the plot on a concrete base for approx. 3 cars to front of the cabin. It also benefits from double glazed windows, a new roof about 13 years ago and being clad & insulated all round.


Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470. It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains. There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.


The cabin is approached from the parking area down several steps to the patio area and UPVC front door. The enclosed veranda has double glazed windows and forms a carpeted seating/storage area on one side (4.30m x 1.18m) and has been opened out to form a kitchen-diner on the other side.


4.02m x 3.02m. The lounge has 4 armchairs, 2 coffee tables and a nest of tables, a night storage heater, TV, freesat box, fitted shelves, a UPVC double glazed bay window to the rear with views up to the Rhinog Mountains and is carpeted. The broom/meter cupboard is off the lounge.


3.05m x 3.25m. The kitchen-diner is open plan with the lounge and has fitted base and wall units, fitted stainless steel sink unit with electric water heater above, freestanding cooker and fridge, microwave and lino flooring. The dining area has a fitted bench, dining table, rocking chair, storage heater and is carpeted. 


The bathroom has a shower cubicle with electric shower, white WC and white washbasin in vanity unit with water heater above, bar heater, heated towel rail and vinyl flooring.


Bedroom 1 (left) 2.51m x 2.00m. Double bed, bedside shelves, chest of drawers and is carpeted.
Bedroom 2 (2nd Left) 2.50m x 2.00m. A fitted bunk bed with drawers beneath, fitted wardrobe, bedside cabinet, fitted heated towel rail plus oil filled heater and is carpeted.


The cabin has a large, relatively private plot with a flagged patio to the front having views to the Rhinog Mountains, grassed areas to both sides of cabin with a hedge border. The parking is within the plot on a concrete base for approx. 3 cars to front of the cabin. All windows are double glazed, the roof was re-roofed about 13 years ago and the cabin is clad all round with 2-inch insulation incorporated.


None of the services have been tested but the chalet is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.


Leasehold: A new 50-year lease was issued on 17/02/10. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and only between 1st December and 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from the site office.
