Cabin 8 is a detached furnished log cabin located towards the edge of the village. It has an enclosed veranda, opened out to create a bigger kitchen-diner and porch. The plot has good space between it and neighbouring cabins and has mature trees around it giving good privacy to the lawned and decking areas. The cabin also benefits from having UPVC windows and doors, a new roof in the last 10 years and a parking space directly beside it.

Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470. It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains. There is a launderette and small shop on the site.

Accommodation

The cabin is accessed directly from the parking space onto the decking. The veranda has been enclosed and opened out to form a lounge/kitchen-diner.

Entrance Porch

1.16m x 1.98m. UPVC double glazed entrance door and glass panelling alongside. There is enough space here for coat and shoe storage., vacuum cleaner etc.

Kitchen-Diner

3.2m x 2.55m. The kitchen has a large window across the front and a range of fitted base and wall units in white with black worktops. Stainless steel single drainer sink with electric water heater underneath, freestanding cooker in stainless steel with ceramic hobs, freestanding fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, folding table and 3 chairs, vertical blinds and laminate flooring.

Lounge

2.64m 3.94m. The lounge has a double-glazed window to the rear with curtains, 2 two-seater sofas one of which is a sofa bed, night storage heater, freestanding coal effect electric heater, TV, Sky box and DVD player. Beige carpet and large rug. 

Bathroom

WC, wash basin and quadrant shower base all in white. Redring electric shower unit. Electric chrome heated towel rail, wall fan heater, vanity light, mirror and shaving point above wash basin. Lino flooring. Cupboard housing electric meter and fuses. 

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 (right) 2.12m x 1.93m. Fitted bunk beds, carpeted floor. 1 chair, 3 drawer cupboard, night storage heater, free standing heater, shelf, mirror and coat hanging hooks.
Bedroom 2 (left) 2.13m x 3.13m. Double bed, night storage heater, small wardrobe, 3 drawer bedside cabinet, carpet and blinds.

Externally

The plot has good space between it and neighbouring cabins and also benefits from having mature trees around it giving good privacy to the lawned and decking areas (Decking 3.7m x 3.2m). The concreted parking space is to the side of the cabin. The cabin has had a new roof in the last 10 years and all the walls have been clad on the outside. The logs are 3” – 4” thick which is 1” thicker than most cabins on the park.

None of the services have been tested but the chalet is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.
