Cabin 10 is a detached furnished leasehold log cabin which has been extensively renovated in recent years and is in excellent order throughout. It is slightly larger than many 2 bedroom cabins on site providing more room in the bedrooms and lounge/kitchen. The cabin also benefits from having a large lawned plot, a large decking and a parking space directly beside it and has been re-roofed. 

Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470. It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains. There is a launderette and small shop on the site.

Accommodation

The cabin is accessed directly from the parking space onto the decking. The veranda has been enclosed and opened out to form a large lounge/kitchen-diner.

Lounge/Kitchen-Diner

5.1m x 4.95m longest dimensions of L-shaped room. The kitchen has a large window across the front and a range of fitted base and wall units in light oak, dark worktops and splash back, an extractor, fitted hob, oven, fridge and stainless-steel sink, wall mounted microwave, table and chairs, venetian blinds and grey tile effect laminate flooring. 

The lounge has a double-glazed window to the rear with blinds and curtains, 2 recliner chairs, a coffee table, 2 lamps, a new night storage heater, spotlights, a wall mounted TV, modern panelled doors to the bedrooms/bathroom and dark grey carpet. There is also a built-in storage cupboard by the front door for coats etc. 

Bathroom

All walls and ceiling are clad in glossy beige bathroom panelling, there is a white shower base, pedestal washbasin and corner toilet, Mira electric shower unit with extractor fan fitted in ceiling above, dark cushioned lino, chrome finished heated towel rail, blinds, mirror and small cupboard with bi-fold doors containing the electric meters and fuses.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 (1st left) 2.45m x 3.08m. Double bed, fitted wardrobe, 2 bedside cabinets and lamps, night storage heater, carpet to match lounge, curtains and blinds.

The cabin has a large plot with good space between it and neighbouring cabins and leylandii hedge to 2 sides. It also benefits from having a large decking area (7.00m x 3.80m) to the front with gate down to lawned plot and has been re-roofed. The concreted parking space is to the side of the cabin. 

Services

None of the services have been tested but the chalet is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.

Tenure

Leasehold: A new 50 year lease was issued on the 26/04/11. The cabin can be used strictly for holiday purposes only and only between 1st December and 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from reception.
